The daily standup revealed

In a day to day business one of the keys to success is good communication. Especially when you are working in a team that works on a common goal.
To achieve that common goal, there are three big factors :
· What has been done to achieve the defined goal
· What still needs to be done to achieve that goal
· Are there any issues that block us from achieving that goal
A daily standup is designed to combine all of these things.
It is a short meeting (timeboxed on 15mins) that is being held with the team where everybody in the team reports to the other members the answer to the three key questions.
The result of this is that everybody is up-to-date with the status and that when impediments arise the whole team can assist or determine a game plan.
